About

I'm Yiwen Dong, a Ph.D. student in Structures as Sensors Lab at Stanford University, advised by Professor Hae Young Noh. My current research focuses on physics-guided analysis for smart structures using floor vibrations induced by humans.

I received my M.S. degree in Structural Engineering from Stanford University (2020) and B.Eng. degree in Civil Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (2018).

I am passionate about advancing smart building services for building occupants (especially for the aging populations) by leveraging the insights from both structural engineering and machine learning.
